But Crocs are not your average shoe, so we’d like to present a brief discussion on how to size Crocs and determine the best fit for your feet.
Crocs are unique and should not fit like any other shoe. When you put your feet into a pair of Crocs, they should be loose. The sides of your feet shouldn’t really touch the walls of the shoes and your toes should never touch the front of the shoe. The whole idea behind the design is no pressure points anywhere on your foot. So once your feet are inside the shoes, you should have about ¼ to ½ an inch clearance in front and back and your finger should be able to slip easily between your heel and the strap.
To double check the fit, take your feet out of the shoes and roll the strap forward so that the shoes are now slip-on clogs. Slide your feet back in and make sure the strap wasn’t pulling your feet too far forward into the front of the shoe. If the fit is perfect this way, but your toes are touching the front of the shoe when the strap is on, the strap is a bit too short. You can stretch the strap, but be careful not to stress the area where the rivet connects the strap to the shoe. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the end of the shoe. The material used to make Crocs shoes should conform to the new shape after stretching it once or twice.
